Gomez played only four live shows in Australia, Splinter in the Grass, Horden Pavilion (Sydney), Festival Hall (Melbourne) and one Show in Perth. Phaseshift Productions accompanied them on the Sydney and Melbourne Shows.
Gomez’s Lighting Designer/Operator Steve Somerville is a very large Avolites Sapphire user and his moving light of choice on this recent tour was Martin MAC-500’s and MAC-600’s therefore Phaseshift Productions was the chosen to supply all of the Lighting and Rigging, with Lighting Crew Chief - Alex Saad (Alex Saad Design) and System Tech - Simon Aitken (Phaseshift Productions) accompanying the equipment on this run.
Steve Somerville (LD) proved that his design could be as dynamic as the music Gomez play. Using some different effects such as the 16” ½ Mirrorballs rigged side ways lit by the MAC-500’s proving the MAC-500’s Pan and Tilt Precision off the Avolites software.
