Things to try if a program fails to load from a 3.5in floppy disk

- Use a newly formatted disk. Format it on a PC using the FULL format not the quick method, or better still but not always possible format the disk using a desk. Then copy the program onto this disk.
- If the program only partly loads you may find you cannot restart your desk, in this case, enter the AVOS menu by placing a jumper on the AVOS link and powering up the desk. Afterwards, try burning the program again. (For the Diamond 2/3 the AVOS link can be found on the edge of the MAP card at the opposite end to the backplane connector.
